Ambulances Donated through MDA, Victoria Since 1974, the generosity of these people has made new ambulances possible:   THANK YOU from the people of Israel!   Magen David Adom Divisions around Australia and New Zealand have now added yet another ambulance to MDA's fleet in Israel.   From June 2007, the new ambulance, codenamed "Asher 48", began saving lives in Acre, a city in the Western Galilee district of northern Israel. MAZEL TOV - AND THANK YOU! Adam Stone recently flew from USA, where he lives with his family, to Melbourne in order to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah. He asked for donations to Magen David Adom in lieu of gifts. Adam is also looking forward to one day being able to raise enough money on his own to purchase an ambulance for MDA in Israel.   Pictured (L-R): Talia, Sharon, Adrian, Adam.   On behalf of the people of Israel, we say "Thank You" and wish Adam a happy and successful future.
