Magen David Adom in Israel is a front-line force maintaining a continual vigil
over the nation and its residents.
MDA’s staff and volunteers are indeed Israel’s silent heroes as they train and
work throughout the nation and outlying areas to assist without discrimination
all those who require emergency medical help.
The generous contributions by our NSW community allowed us recently to transfer
just over $450,000 to MDA Israel for the purchase of urgently needed specialized
training equipment. This will directly impact on the ability of MDA paramedics and
volunteers to effectively offer emergency aid to victims of traffic accidents,
shellings and other incidents.
